Reading TPMS ID's?
 

At the Lexus dealer right now. I mounted my new winter wheels/tires with new Lexus tpms sensors installed in them. They tell me the only way they can retrieve the tpms ID's is to dismount the tires and physically look at the sensors.

Is this really true? I cannot believe this!

I told them absolutely not for the time being. Can anyone help here?
