Tire buyers must be aware that tires has a life of 5 to 6 years (maximum is 10 years under ideal conditions).

Tire buyers may potentially purchase a "new" tire...but in reality the tire may be already 3 years old if that tire has been sitting on the shelf at a tire store for several years.

This issue is related to another Lexus RX350 forum named "Life of your spare tire is limited" and people should be aware that your spare tire may be dangerous to use.

It all depends on how you drive your car, but extending the life of the tires can be done. I'm hoping I can do the same for my 3IS.
Isn't also because of the front lower control arm bushing and deflection under braking like 2IS?
