Lane departure warning help
I have a 14 IS 350. How do I set the lane departure to beep or chime when I'm getting ready to get in another lane and a car is in that lane? I know it beeps when Im reversing and a car is passing.

If you're reversing and car is passing, that's more your blind-spot monitor than your lane departure warning. The Blind Sport monitor won't activate unless another car is on either side of you when changing lanes.

FYI, the system you are referring to is the Blind Spot Monitoring (BSM) System, not Lane Departure Warning. The reverse beeping is the Rear Cross Traffic Alert (which is coupled with the BSM).
Unfortunately, I don't think it's possible to have a beeping for the BSM when signalling to change lanes. The warning light does flash rapidly when you are about the make a lane change if the appropriate turn signal is activated however. In my opinion, it would probably be annoying considering how often that could arise...
