F sport package: upgraded exhaust and intake
Hi all, this may be a silly >? but it am new to Lexus and the SEARCH on this has confused me more:
for the 2014 F Sport IS350 why is everyone awaiting the Fsport Intake and Exhaust? Doesnt the F Sport package already come with upgraded intake and exhaust? |
no it doesnt

Before the cars were released i heard that same rumor guess it didn't happen....
|
thats great.....now have to buy another f sport part to an allready 8k f sport package
|
i am sure for the intake, just cut a slit/hole on side like the 2nd gen DIY and i am guessing the midpipe straighpipes give the best sound before getting into to drone region

Nice thing is you can today get a Magnaflow axel-back bolt-on system for a fairly cheap $900 or if you want to spend a few bucks less, do what I did and you'll get a great sound, some extra pep and for a low cost:
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/per...k-exhaust.html If you don't like this, there will be plenty more exhausts (axel or cat-back) coming out over the next few months my guesstimate around $1200-1800. I know Joe Z's will sound amazing based on some teasers out there. Oh and I also got the Takeda Intake for around 200$ which is fantastic. |
i would like to see what borla does....i had the multicore on my C6 Vette and 335i and loved it....gived different engines on both but i went through lots of iterations on exhaust from Magnaflow and and settled on borla multicore
i am getting older and not a big fan of interior drone |
still have the multicore on my C6...got rid of the 335i for is350 f sport

the f sport is 4 gz on the 250 ....8 Gz on the 350.....IMO they should just discontinue the 250 or put a i4 turbo as the 250 is has the most mismatched drivetrain....a scooter engine and 6 speed 1980s technology
anyway...8gz f sport should have the 100 dolllar f sport intake box and whatever price exhaust already included |
where are you getting that F Sport costs $8k? Sounds like youre including Navi and Mark Levinson package as well in the "F Sport Package"
|
To be honest, the f sport package is lacking plenty of product. I would expect f sport intake and exhaust.
I still got the f sport anyway |
I am....thats the only way my dealer would sell it...maybe i got jacked?
|
Yea man its the nature of the beast. But look into other exhaust systems for your car. Joe Z makes an amazing system.
