6/13 someone stole my tires/rims. Cops used something to try to lift fingerprints off the car but they couldn't find anything.

Yesterday I go to pick up my car and I noticed the streaks where they sprayed my car (it was also raining that day). A regular car wash isn't taking care of the issue and even with me rubbing the car with my finger, it doesn't seem to rub off. I hope to God that stuff didn't ruin my car.

I tried to do as much research as I could and I came across something called Small Particle Reagent or Wet Print - I think that's what the cops used on my car. Anyone have similar situations with their paint and what I could do to take car of this issue? I could upload a pic, it isn't the greatest, but you might notice it.

Would waxing work?

Sorry to hear that.

A wax will not remove it, but I would be very surprised if a good polishing would not. You may want to consider posting this in the detailing forum, as there are some true experts that monitor that forum who could definitely help you choose the right products and processes to remove it.

Wet Paint will most likely be able to take that off, especially if you use an orbital
