Those small circular clips holding the front emblem on are one way fasteners
and are designed to hold on and actually dig in more when moved in opposite direction
think of a fish hook
so while it is not impossible to remove them if you have a lot of space to work them from all sides
it is highly unlikely to remove both without breaking at least one post
Argh; so does breaking one render the original emblem useless if we decide to reinstall?

I broke one post while removing the original emblem. The Black Pearl Front Emblem was easy to put in with the fasteners provided. Looks dope too!
Has anyone just replaced their front emblem only? I don't have a problem w/ the way the rear looks. in fact, the front is fine too, but I would like that "3D" look that the black pearl provides.
would it be weird to have the original in the back and black pearl in front?
Everyone talking about the hairline scratches and scruffs, on a thin layer of black pearl are promised. You're gonna get them no matter what. I just got mine today which I'm installing tomorrow and I had my neighbor (who works on cars for a living) spray my emblem with a clear coat while he was spraying a car. Everything looks glossy and thick now and it kinda got rid of most of the normal scruffs. Maybe you could try this? Also does anyone else's emblem stick out from the black background on the sides? It's not flushed I posted a pic (last one) to show what I mean. Let me know if this is normal I actually never noticed until I got it back from him.

Where did you get front emblem? I try to find it but it is too costly.
Got mine on eBay, it was like 160 or so don't remember. I recently traded my car in and didn't take the emblem back I told them to keep it hah it has chips and stuff all in it cause it is cheaply made so yeahh it's up to you if it's worth it.
