July 4th , I picked up my 2014 IS 250 Base model at the time I wasn't feeling the F Sport bumper but now I have to have one ASAP. I know is probably to early to be asking this question but does anyone know what I need to make the swap? does the bumper cover already come painted from the dealer?

Front bumper cover
upper grill

what else?

Ever notice the AeroDynamic vents (next to fog lamps) on your standard bumper that exit into the fender liners ???

Those vents are NOT present on the F-Sport Bumper or Fender liners...

Didn't even realize there are vents next to the fog lights. All I need to find out now is if the front bumper comes painted , The parts guys from my local dealer had no clue

 

I doubt its painted.

 

I'm going to cal Sewell tomorrow to see what's up

 

Bumpers don't come painted....

Sewell might be able to paint for you, as I'm sure they have a reputable shop they use.

However, color matching Starfire Pearl off site might be challenging..!!

Let me know this turns out. I was planning to do the same with a base model 350. I emailed Sewell a week ago and they have yet to respond.

 

I will doing the opposite soon! Waiting to see some one do it first.. Fsport to Non..

 

You guys just need to meet up and swap..!!! (same colors)
