Here in NY we have white plates that thankfully don't look too bad with my white IS350

Like others have added, I don't need the hassle of no plate at all, regardless of how horrible it is. Cops are just way to over=zealous on my ride to work.

In Australia all states have front plates. It makes it easier for revenue generating speed cameras lexus supply a plate mount although the standard plate is an inch taller than the mount. I ordered slimline fronts and regular back in white on black. Spendy at $510 but a much better look.

In theory, you should be able to order the euro/aus factory front plate mount in the US

I used a tow hook plate for my car. I know it looks ugly mounted so high, but this was the only way to mount the plate without tripping my PDC parking sensors.

I'm in the NYC area and I have been driving with no front plate since July 2013 and, knock on wood, haven't been stopped for it yet. I have passed several cops right in front of them and they still don't pull me over. I guess they're used to seeing 95% of people having front plates that they assume we all do.

Let's see how long my luck lasts

btw Apathetic, thats gotta be the best front plate i've ever seen on the 3IS!

i have a friend who is a cop, tho not in the states, but what he says is usually cops won't stop you for the front plate, but when they stop you for something else like speeding and they wanna give you a combo, they can also give you a ticket for the front plate just for the sake of it

so its either nothing happens, or it happens hard

If US plates look like these I have no problem with front plate. Looks so much cleaner.

Interesting. Does rain easily get into the inner bumper?
