Hey Wams, if you do please let me know. Mashel is the sales person I've been speaking with over there who said they'd make one if they could see an example car.

Thanks!

I could possibly drive down there with my car. Do you know how long it's going to take?

Hey Jerry,

Here's what she said:

It actually depends on what is involved in the fitment. If it is simple and Mike can use existing components we have here, it can be under an hour to get it done. If Mike has to have a new bracket fabricated it can take several weeks to complete the process because we don't do the laser cutting and welding here. It will require a second trip here for the fitment if that is the case. In addition, please keep in mind that there are the occasional vehicles that we are not able to make a bracket for. It is rare, but it does occur.

So it sounds like best case is an hour, worst case is two trips. Let me know what you're thinking; I'd be willing to help cover expenses if it means I can get one made for myself and avoid drilling into the grill ;-)

Thanks!

Front plate?? I don't need no damn front plate! I roll naked and live with the consequences. I still remember telling the dealership DO NOT put a front plate on it if you drill into the car it will not be 'my' car.

I live in the Kansas City area, and where I work is near the state line. So, technically I could just move to Kansas and not have to deal with the front anymore.

Atm I am using it as an excuse to have a carbon fiber plate frame however.

That's an amazing solution specONE, I wish I had the skills to pull that off! Pretty sure I'd end up breaking the front bumper/grill at least a few times. And I'm envious of all you who live where they just don't care about front plates - but the police are pretty strict about it up here for whatever reason.

Still really hoping someone has come up with a solution to this obvious dilemma for our cars that is as simple and affordable as the Big Mike's part... but haven't come across it yet in all my searching. Thanks for the replies!

Awesome job dude, really creative. Do you have a video on how to remove the front grill?
