Default Photos to the Navi???

Someone posted a thread not to long ago and made me think if there's a way to download a photo from your iphone or USB drive and have it come up on the start up of the Navi. My dealer had their Lexus Dealer Photo and I removed it. So I wanted to put a different photo to start on my navi. How can you do this?

This is frustrating! Nothing seems to work. Ive read all the GS forums on this and it will not read any of my USB drives when you go to the Menu and try to copy startup image from USB. Just says "please check USB drive"

I started with a blank USB drive

named the folder "StartupImage"

made sure the files were .JPG and named something short.

Tried all different things as well and still will not read any pictures of the 4 different USB drives I tried.

My dealer said you can do it and the menu clearly says you can, but nobody can tell me how, the dealer said they will have to get back to me.

Anyone have any luck??

The IS may only see certain file systems. You can try formatting into a different file system. right click the drive, format, and pick one try them all =D Most thumb drives come in FAT32 so you can try out NTFS

edit : this will wipe all data from the thumb drive so make sure you don't have anything you want to save on it
