Question Anyone know how to disable the seat belt alarm?

I have been searching and searching and cannot find the answer for this. It was easy in the last model. I really don't want to visit the dealer so soon but I seriously can't take this stupid alarm when I'm driving from my mailbox to my house all of 400 feet I really don't feel like putting my seatbelt on and this baby is loud and super annoying.. Hoping there is a way!! I'm sure nobody knows yet tho

I think your best options are
1. Use your seatbelt. My car doesn't move until I buckle up.
2. Suffer through the ungodly amount of time it takes to drive 400 feet.
3. Walk to your mailbox

Easy solutions for first world problems.

Really?? 400 feet and you would not walk to get mails?

Sorry I just have to chime in and provide some feedback in the world of forums

In your owners manual there is a list of customizable settings. Three options, can apply to all three, two or just one - through the options on the main Navi menu, options on the LCD cluster or dealer only.

Disabling the seatbelt notifier is a dealer only adjustable setting in this vehicle. Took it in yesterday morning and it was done within minutes. good luck.
