They call it an M-Sport because it sells cars. Bottom line.

They're in business to sell cars.

I went for the 250 F-Sport as I valued looks over power for the budget I set myself. If you're not in an area where you have long stretches of road with minimal traffic, the 250 F-Sport might make more sense.

you just dont buy the f sport for looks, u buy it for the increased suspension. think of it as a underpower fr-s.

Can you put the fsport grill on the non fsport version?

I'm not very familiar with US pricing but if you're on a budget and the price difference between an IS250 F-Sport vs a standard IS350 is close, I'd go with the standard IS350.

You can't replace the engine while you can always upgrade the looks later on (e.g. nicer wheels) when budget permits.

I'm sure the IS250 is fine but I also think to enjoy the car, you'd want a combination of both power and handling.

This question was asked in a previous thread and the reply was that the whole bumper would have to be changed.

The whole bumper does have to be changed to go to the F-Sport look. People do it to the 4GS all the time.

That said, you loose the best attributes of the F Sport: LFA gauges, sport seats, interior trim, AVS suspension. I think the F Sport is a no brainer for this car...

I agree. The F-Sport has much more going for it than just the amazing front end and is a no brainerceven with the lack of options.

Cadillac just created a V sport line, distinct from the V cars. If that's not a joke, I don't know what is.

I don't really care too much for the F, 250 or 350 base!

Coming from an is250 f-sport the car was good until one day i really regretted not going for a 350 instead. I have a C350 and the Is350 makes Lexus trully shine with its power and luxury.. I am very happy with my purchase of the fsport 350 and the sacrifice is definitely worth every penny. Im very sad to say this and i dont mean any disrespect but when i drove the is250 i felt like i was driving my friends corolla and it took a lot for the car to even enter a freeway, it didnt feel like money well spent. Those arey 2 cents.
