I forgot to mention. I also got quoted basically the same $35,500 for a base model 2017 200t (non F Sport, MSRP $39,XXX) as the 2016 with the premium + nav that I was looking at. I just think that's too high. Back in December when Lexus had the $2,500 IS Performance Cash, I got a quote of $31,700 with literally no negotiating on a base model 2016. 5 months later, I don't think a base model 2017 with the exact same specs (and only slightly redesigned exterior) is worth an almost $4,000 premium. That's why I was looking at the 2016's to see if I could find older inventory that dealers want to get rid of at a bigger discount.

Assuming i don't find the 2016 that I want, I guess my question is, how often does Lexus have factory rebates? I'm hoping it's not once every December.

wow, that's a lot better than what i paid for 1.5 months ago. my msrp was a little over 50k, and selling price was $42000 before tax and fees. i purchased the car it was not a lease. maybe they lower the selling price even more for leasing?

Sales are down throughout the entire market. some are even discounting up to 25%. So anything is possible at this moment.

It was actually pretty tough to due to the limited amount of 17' is350 left in socal. but also remember that the 2018 are coming out in a few months. I think i got lucky cause i bought it at the very last day of the month to meet their quota?

yep even now there are about only 20 within 50 miles radius from where i live here in SGV socal. when i bought mine from Longo (the biggest in socal or maybe even CA), they only had 3, not much room to negotiate, i thought i did pretty good at the time, oh well, no need to look back. i'll be totally pissed off if they upgrade the '18 IS350 to the V6 turbo used in the new LS.

That monthly payment includes the 8% tax as well? What is your total drive off fees? Which dealer was this if you don't mind sharing? You can also send PM of info if you don't want to share on the thread. Thanks.

That's a solid deal, I think you could've pushed for $41k.

Not sure if I should jump on this deal.

2016 IS200t F Sport fully loaded (navigation, premium, spoiler, parking, accessories)

MSRP: $45k
OTD including tax and fees: $36.5k

Rode in a IS200t today and it feels so compact coming from an accord.

Wow that is a great price. What was your negotiated selling price of the car before taxes and fees? What was the total discount including any lease cash, rebates, etc.?? Also if you don't mind sharing the dealer you got it from that would be great. You can PM the info if you don't want to post in the thread.

Thanks to rcsting, I just concluded my car purchase from a dealer in San Francisco.

2017 IS 350 F-Sport MSRP $49678
(F-Sport, Mark Lev, BSM, Spoiler)

Invoice was $46632 with LDA.

Out the door WITHOUT tax or tags: $40980 ($5652 under invoice)

This price includes a $1000 Lexus discount certificate (from a recent promotion I posted on here (no longer available)) and the $1000 Lexus Cash rebate. PM if you want the salesman's info.
