Went to the dealership to pick up my car later in the day and the sales manager I previously negotiated with was not there. Got stuck with a random F&I woman and brought up the money factor issue. Left with a bad taste in my mouth considering it was my first leasing experience. But, the car is beautiful and it is exactly what I wanted. Can't wait for the rain to pass here in Houston and take her out!

Dont Sweat it !

If the payments are where you want it and you could afford it. take it just your next lease really double check, and dont let them not tell you information you should definitely know. Enjoy the new car! Congrats!

I leased an uw, red interior, IS250 f sport rwd, msrp 45k (dealer installed $800 lo-jack)
final negotiated price was $37,250
27 month, 10k, $0 down, $375 a month inc. tax
so cal.

I think it's the same as April
0.00085 MF for tier 1
I know 27 month off the top of my head for 10k (72%), 12k (71%), 15k (69%)
36 month, I think you subtract 2% for the residual.

What kind of dealership charges 589$ a month for an IS250/350? Money factors and residuals can easily be found. I would have left the minute he refused to tell you. But as long as you are happy with the car..

Are you sure you typed all of your numbers correctly? How is the MSRP 45k even with a $800 add on?
With your numbers I get $325 inc. tax; $0 out of pocket.

MSRP without lojack is 44,185 for a fully loaded f sport is250 (with delivery fee).
Sticker price $44,185
Residual (72%) = $31,813
Net capitalized cost: $40,250
lease amount: $8437 / 27 = $312.48 before MF

Net capitalized cost + residual= $72063
MF: 0.00085
Interest: $61.25

$312.48 + $61.25 = $373.73/ month

You forgot the MF I think...

The MSRP is $44,185 (lo-jack can't be added on by the dealership as part of residual calculation).

$325 would be one hell of a deal though

I wasn't aware that there's more options to add to the 43,138 MSRP. I calc'd about the same numbers now...the lo-jack was throwing things off. How did they go so low on the price? Demo car?

well, there is a 875~900$ delivery fee that's tacked onto the MSRP. + first aid kit and some other things that brings it a hair above $44k.

It was brand new! still wrapped up with 6 miles.

I went on the last day of the month and had negotiated the price down to 37,900 (over a span of 2 weeks) with practically every dealership in so cal via email/ phone calls BEFORE entering the dealership. I went to the dealership around 4:30pm, no other customers besides me... on the last calendar month. My sales guy told me that he could sell the car easily. I was planning on leasing a car in July, so was in no rush. I told him I'll try next month because I'm really in no hurry (wasn't a bluff, I really was about to leave). He said if he gets it down to $37,250 (what I wanted), would I have his business. I shook on it. He spoke with his manager, and voila.

Oh, I had meant that the 44+k has the delivery charge included.

And thanks! If this deal didn't go through, I was planning on finding an is350, but knew I probably wouldn't get that much of a discount as I did for the 250. The 250 serves its purpose though.

So your net cap cost had all the drive off fees, $700 acquistion fee and monthly sales tax as well since the net cap cost is $3000 more from your negotiated price of the car.

Also if you can PM the dealership you got it from that would be great.

I did not get the car from the dealership that quoted me $589.
