Btw, what would be a fair price for dealer-installed clear bra? For those of you in SoCal, did your dealer make you pay $800 for LoJack?
Depends what kind of clear bra, like what material and how much coverage? In general, you'll probably get better quality work & better price if you find your own shop. Dealer installed usually only covers part of bumper and a small strip of hood.

As for the Lo-Jack, insist that you will not buy from them unless they remove it or not charge you for it. I doubt they will give up a sale just for the Lo-Jack. When I was negotiating with Newport, they agreed to removing the Lo-Jack if that's what I wanted. The only reason they install Lo-Jack on all their cars is to prevent them from being stolen from the dealer lot. Newport said they started doing it after several cars were stolen, and the insurance money they saved more than covered for price of installing the Lo-Jack. So they really shouldn't be passing on the cost to the customers. Typical dealers...doing things that only benefit themselves, and then trying to make it sounds like they are helping the consumer.

Why are they installing lojack on a car that already has Stolen Vehicle Location built in.

Am I confused? I thought the Lexus Safety Connect included stolen vehicle location.

How much was the sticker price on your car? Looks like a good deal!

I am wanting to lease a 250 F Sport and not sure what price to start negotiating at under sticker. Right now they have the following deal --- $1900 down payment excluding tax and title. They advertise $269 per month w an msrp of 37k. Hoping I can get a base F sport for 330 per month, am I dreaming?

Any help is appreciated. My location is south Florida.
Thanks!!

You're right. You get it free for the first year and can subscribe after that for $134 or something annually. Make sure to tell your insurance company about it.

Don't need LoJack or anything, just give me normal door locks. No one will steal my entry level Lexus where I live.

Still not much luck with email negotiation. Maybe still too early in the month? Looks like I will have to pick up the phone this weekend.

Fremont Magnussen Lexus, CA
Late Feb, 2014
IS350 RWD
Pearl white/fluxen + Premium package with Navi (not luxury, not F-sport)
-Blind Spot Monitor
-Navi package w/ Back up camera
-Heated/Ventilated seat (not real leather)
-5 spike 18'' alloy wheel, summer tire
-Trunk Mat, Cargo Net, Wheel Lock & Rear Bumper App
- paint protection film (i probably didn't need this, but its already on)

MSRP: $45,802
Discounted::$41,228
OTD: $44,500 (Including tax and license fee)

Note:
- $20,000 financed at 2.9% (by taking their financing, i got $750 off, althought slight higher rate)
- They contacted me after i got internet quote from them through trueCar
- Costco discount was better than truecar price
- I went in to buy at the spot without test drive (done that at various dealers already)

Not sure if its the best price but i had good experience with Fremont. The other dealers I went to (like Steven's Creek) didn't seem as sincere or didn't really treat me seriously when i met them at the time. Maybe because they were busy and i was a female all by myself, without expensive handbag on me, nor brought a guy friend (that looks like know cars and know how to bargain) along. :P

This looks like a good deal. First time I see Costco discount used. How is that working if you don;t mind sharing.
