Default Clock project

With a bit of extra time on my hands recently I've finally got around to playing with a clock project. Got a salvaged vent with clock and a Thor Pro 4 1.6" Android smartwatch .....Wired original clock buttons to watch buttons, added a dc-dc converter for 5v, added app to keep screen on while charging. Still some work to do but this is what I've done so far

Lexus clock module with smartwatch fitted

Fitted to vent

That looks pretty awesome. I wouldn’t mind having one of those.

The heart monitor seems out of place. Lol

But it looks really good. Great idea, I wouldn't mind doing this as well.

Does anyone know the diameter of the stock analog clock? I wanna do something similar but with a boost gauge instead.

The 1.6" display fits well, from memory the bezel hole is 42mm

Think there might be a smartwatch version of the OBD Torque app

wow great idea!

In the 14-16 the clock is a must. I didn't put my boost gauge here because the analog clock is the only clock in the car.

I like the simple Lexus clock the way it is, but this is certainly an interesting change.
