Default I know this is repetitive BUT…

I have read the sticky on this, I have posted in a facebook group, I have scoured the internet for solid answers. I’m still confused. I don’t consider myself to be much of an airhead but I’m starting to question that 😬 I have a 2016 IS 300 with, you guessed it, no sound. I just purchased it and it’s driving me crazy. Car is definitely leaking water in the trunk as it was previously rear ended, so obviously this has to be fixed prior to replacing anything. My question is, am I able to put an aftermarket amp in bypassing the fried amp and use the oem head unit? I don’t know much about car audio, I have a system in my other vehicle and prefer aftermarket hands down though. Not to mention these amps start out at 700 bucks on eBay and from what im reading are garbage anyway.
