Every time I go to press the HomeLink button, my mirror shoots up on that side and obviously goes out of adjustment. When I remember, I try to support the top of the mirror with my hand while pressing the button with my thumb. It's still very annoying. Is it just mine or is this an issue with design? It's not made rigid enough to support the slightest force. Just wondering if it's worth a dealer visit or not.

I sometimes bop my Homelink button with one finger from the bottom, and I don't seem to have to re-adjust it often. Does it feel loose? There should be a pretty solid feel to it with some resistance before it starts turning.
Interesting. Ok, then for sure something is up with mine cause the slightest force to push the button moves the whole assembly up. I'll bring it up to the dealer next time I'm there.

mine is pretty much the same way but maybe not quite as sensitive as yours but it does move but I try and hold the mirror while the other finger pushes the button
