Default Ramps for LCA Replacement?

About to start replacing the LCA bushings with RC F versions on my 2014 IS350 RWD, and I understand I need to preload the suspension to torque the bolts down when I'm done. If I raise the car on ramps for the bushing replacement, will that in any way make the removal of the bushings harder than if it was supported on jackstands? Forgive me if this is a dumb question, but I didn't know if the wheels being on ramps would prevent moving the lower control arms enough to slide the bushings off and on...thanks in advance!

It’s been a few years since I did that installation, but I think the suspension needs to be unloaded to remove and replace the bushing. Then loaded to do the final torque.
So I think I used a jack stand while changing each side, and then reaching under there when it was back on the ground to do that torque (not fun).

Yes, you're right...I was just hoping you weren't! It makes sense, as the LCA needs to be able to have some wiggle room to get the bushing off. I was hoping to save a little work by being able to go through the entire process with the car just on ramps, but its no big deal. Thank you for the reply!

It needs to be unloaded to swap them out. What I've always done is put it on jackstands, swap out the bushings, then use the jack to preload the suspension and torque it. There is very little room to work with the car in the ground, especially with a big torque wrench.

Yeah, that ^^^^^^^.
Been awhile since I did it, but now I remember doing that (using a floor jack to load the suspension, giving a bit more room underneath to do that final torque).
Thanks for joggin the ol’ noggin.
