I got the airbag light on suddenly for no reason as I started the car in the morning several days ago.

the code: B1836

Also, I notice when someone places in the passenger seat, the air bag indicator light remains off.

please help.

 

I would remove the interior plastics on the driver's side of the car and inspect curtain airbag connectors and wires. I'd also remove both front seats and the center console to inspect the SRS module.....SRS module is located under the center console below cop holder.

Connectors and wire harness covers associated with all airbag systems are yellow 🟡 in color.

I got airbag light on with code B1836.
I relized when someone sitting in the passenger seat the seat belt warning light not turning on.

please help what I do to fix the annoying airbag light.
