High Beam Headlights don't work

Recently, I've noticed that my high beam headlights do not work anymore. They only work if my low beam headlights are off and only when I pull on the switch instead of pushing it to be on permanently. Most of the time, when I push the switch forward to turn the high beam lights on, the only thing that turns on is the little high beam icon light that indicates it's on, but the lights are still off. I've checked the fuses, and one of the fuses were fried, so I've replaced it but this has yielded no result. A bit later, I've bought a new battery since the current one was old, but this has not fixed the issue as well. I'm planning on checking all of the fuses that are related to the headlights, maybe one of them got fried again?

I was hoping anyone have any ideas on what else should I try before I take it to the service if nothing else works.

I had a similar issue, except mine was such that the low beams were not working.

I took the car to a shop for diagnosis. $172 later, the shop declared the headlight switch module had failed. This module is located at the end of the headlight switch (inside the steering column plastics). It's actually part of the headlight switch.

I bought a new eBay switch/module.

The low beam lights worked after that.

HOWEVER.........my high beams didn't work. This situation was EXACTLY how you describe your situation now.

I threw the $12 ebay switch/module in the garbage and bought a $92 switch from the dealership.

In stalled the dealership switch/module and everything worked properly.

You'll need to remove the steering column plastics, the airbag, the steering wheel, the clock-spring, the windshield wiper switch.......to replace the headlight switch/module.

I've tried checking the fuses again yesterday and I noticed that the log beam fuse was fried again, so I replaced it once more to check and tried starting the car and turning the lights on, didn't work and the fuse was cooked once more.

Will look into the headlight switch module.

you gotta first figure out why that fuse is getting burnt.......I doubt it has anything to do with the headlight switch.

Takes a lot of amperage to burn those fuses......and almost no amperage flows thru the headlight switch.

Each headlight has a control module on them. Try disconnecting both modules and see if the fuse burn. If the fuse is good plug in the modules one at a time checking the fuse......maybe a module is causing the fuse to burn.

In addition to above. Verify that pulling on the stalk is not the root cause of fuse popping. Which fuse exactly is getting popped?
These have L & R low beam fuses and one fuse for high beams. Well, so my 2013 owners manual shows.

If the high beam fuse is getting destroyed, I'd guess the switch works. Well, maybe...

Can you confirm your low beams are incandescent bulbs and not HID?

what kind of switch module was it?

Headlights/blinker stalk (switch).
