Side mirror problem after bulb replacement

Default Side mirror problem after bulb replacement

Hi guys I need some info if someone had the same issue.I replaced my side mirrors bulbs today and everything went grate except that after installing everything back both mirrors has some shines of dirt which doesn’t go away .I pushed it as i was supposed to in order to put it back in place and noticed some reflective damage in the glass but I thought it would go away after a while but it didn’t.Anyone had this issue before?

It sounds like it could be a failure of the electrochromatic coating that provides the dimming function. It's a very common problem on the in-car rear view mirror. Not sure if it affects the side view mirrors too.

How can I start heating the mirrors to see if it will help?

not sure if this is your specific issue, but i had a problem with my side mirrors after replacing the bulbs like this other thread
