Default Driver's door pocket not closing fully

The door pocket in my 2008 IS250 won't close properly. When I close it up the right side (front of compartment) closes fully and meets the lower door panel. The left side almost closes flush but it stops about 1/2" away from being fully flush like the other side. Any thoughts on how I can fix this?

FYI: I swear I saw a thread about this a long time ago but I can't find it using the search phrase "door pocket".

Thank you,
Jeffrey

First thing I can think of is something is sitting within the hinge mechanism thus not allowing the door pocket to not fully close. But the details of what the fix entails I'd not be able to help with, as I've not yet had a reason to remove any of my door panels; so I've got zero first-hand experience on this.

^^ Same same, never had the panel off. We've seen them unbound and come apart, is one end seperating making it look like it's not closing?

Maybe empty everything out and vacuum with a small tube and see if something is stuck in there and/or listen closely for the rattle of a foreign object...

Not that I'm aware of and Carfax shows no accidents or I wouldn't have purchased it.

I already tried the empty/vacuum but I didn't use any magnification to see if something is trapped behind it. I'll give that a go. Thanks.
