My 2010 IS250C convertible top would not open.
When I push the Open button, it does not do anything, the window does not open and no sound. The window buttons function good.
I checked in Techstream, there is no Trouble Code, but I noticed when I push Open button, the Open SW remain OFF. The Close SW will be ON and the window will be closed when I push the Close button. (if the button brake then why close still functional? )
This happened 2 days ago, after resetting the roof tray position then it went well, it just stopped work again after I used my trunk and reset it.
Now the hard top is fully closed.
Needs Help.
Start simple and just replace the switch. It can have contacts go bad on one function and not the other. Seen similar issues on here with IS-Cs and it's always been a bad switch.
