My vehicle's check engine light recently came on. The code read for a P0368. I found the sensor related to the code, which is a camshaft sensor exhaust side bank 1, and observed that the plastic or rubber piece connecting one of the wires to the connector has kind of melted. I am suspecting that this is causing the light to come on, but I am unsure. The wire that is connected to the melted piece is a blue wire and I am unsure how to continue this. I also lost the bolt that holds down the senor, so if anyone can lead me in the right direction for a direct replacement, it would so very helpful. My car is at 140,000 miles.
