Default Trunk fuse?

Hello friends! the dinosaur is writing a post because i am wondering about some trouble.
the button inside for my trnk does not function. Usually it would make a sound like *clouk* to let me know the trunk did open.

Then to double check the problem real or not, i go with my key close to the trunk and try to open it. Does not work, I tell myself it must be the battery in my key, which i changed, but it would not work even.

A friend told my it might be a fuse. OK. So i looked over in my lexus book and i would not see any word like *trunck* on a fuse name. Plus there are 3 pannels of fuses. I have no idea whether i should check the inside 2 fuses boxes or in the engine. Plus, for which fuse name should I look for?

The girl needs help guys If you have any info plllllllllllllllllllllllllllleeeease write to me asap )))))))

Thanks guys and happy lexus year ))

Gwen

What your are describing. Is that you no longer see the truck slightly spring up once the button is pushed? How about can you manually lift up, but is heavier than usually. Also does the trunk once opened seem to slam shut.

If the latter it might be the supports are no longer working. To assist when opening the trunk.

actually, neither sound or action in the front when pushing the button, neither in the back, close to the trunk, I tried to help him lift up, but it would not even make any sound.

Ah ok I see. There is a valet switch in the glove box. Make sure it's not locked there first. Someone could have activated it while gatherering something at the time.

I don't know how many times I've reached into my glove box and accidentally hit that button. LOL!
