There is a slight gap forming at the front bumper cover on the drivers side just below the headlights. It looks like it's being held by adhesive that's starting to degrade:
Can I just buy new clips, remove the bumper cover then reinstall it, or does this mean I would need a new bumper cover? If so I will just leave it
The bumper cover is attached through clips. They do get loose with time. Did you try snap them in (push it in)?
Yep, tried to push the bumper cover back in hoping it would snap in to no avail. It looks like it may be held by some type of adhesive on that side. I remember in 2019 when I bought the car it was delayed being shipped to me by 2 weeks. The friend I bought it from who lives in Southern Cal (about 400 miles away from where I live) told me the bumper cover started to come off on one side, he took it to a body shop, they ended up ordering a new front bumper cover and clips. I'm thinking they didn't have enough clips so used adhesive, if you zoom in you can see the white adhesive. I noticed over the last 2 months the gap getting slightly wider
What's the best way to fix it? Can I just remove the bumper cover and reinstall with new clips?
Yes usually reinstall works for a while but it will sag again. You could buy new side brackets but the main issue is the bumper itself being saged at the headlights area.

If that's the case I'm just going to leave it unless it begins to fall off. There's a guy who has a Youtube video who has this issue with his IS300 rear bumper, he replaced the plastic tab with a metal screw. Not sure if the same is applicable here
