I'm curious on what you mean by "wrong wires". Did you change the sensor with a non-standard one, and have to cut and rewire it?

Someone access to my car and stole the parts and cut off the wires where connector connect to Maf sensor. I was wired base on schematic, but I not sure if this is correct or not. The code reading the same whether there is no Maf or not. I think the power pis input for mass sensor is not pin 3 but could be pin 1.

I have the same diagram, and installed as it, but give me the same code with or without sensor.

How did you splice it back up with. Twisting paired wires back up, butt connectors, soldering?

I'm assuming car won't start.

I spliced the wires with the standard wire connectors, not soldering/ butt connectors. I will soldering when there is no code reading. The car is run with a trac on, but when I clear the code is back to normal.
