I just replaced it. I couldn't figure out what the problem was in the amp. I also replaced the vent that was causing water to leak in and short out the amp. These sort of things need a diagram to properly fix it. Which is terrible because I ended up spending $250 for what I'm sure what a broken $5 electronic component.

 

Hi. I am trying to find the wiring diagram of this Pioneer amplifier GM-8157ZT (Toyota 86280-53110). I have seen a lot of diagrams online except the one for this particular model. Do you have the diagram to share? Thank you in advance.

 

If you still have the unit, I'd be willing to look at it. We'll unless the PCBA's were sprayed with something. Did I see that somewhere?

I have no use for it now. Not unless the junk yard part breaks. I'm not even sure I still have it. I didn't spray anything on it. If I have half a mind I would rip out the amp system and put in an aftermarket, if it wasn't so damn integrated with the stereo. You can't even control the volume without the stupid amp.
