Key Fob Unlock Function Doesn't Work but Lock Function Works Fine?

I was wondering if anybody had a problem with their key fob not unlocking the car however, locking the car works perfectly fine. Some background, the car is in SoCal, 2007 IS350 with 210k+ miles, and the problem has been building up for almost a half year. Back then it used to take a couple of clicks of the unlock button before the car actually unlocked. Then it started getting worse, for example, last week I would have to click on the unlock button 20 times before it actually unlocked. Today, it seems like the unlock function completely failed to work. The unlock/lock function works on the handles and the inside unlock/lock functions work inside. If anybody has experience or solution to this problem, feel free to post!
