Hi I have a 2011 IS 350 that easy exit was working, where the seat retracts once you turn off the car. This stopped working, I believe when I was cleaning the car and put the drivers seat all the way to the back/front in order to clean it and thats when it stopped working. I looked on line and some people have referred to a setting for easy exit using the navigation screen. On my 2011 350 under vehicle/other I don’t see this setting. So how to I reset the easy exit to work again. BTW the steering wheel does retract just not the seat. There is nothing obstructing the seat and its not all the way back already.

I also wanted advice on a remote starter, how easy is this for someone to do and will it mess up and of the options, is this relatively safe to do without changing how the car behaves.

Also Is there a way to update the navigation without going to the dealer? I know on older models you can just buy the CD not sure if it’s the same on the 2011. Any advise on this would be great.

No help on starter....
Nav, likely dealer only thing. I tried to have my local Toyota dealer do mine but that backed out saying only Lexus could do it. Yours should be a USB update...

Update Navigation unit from its 2012 install. Looks like PT219-HDD07-16 (Master USB SST LEXD-HDD07-16) is the one but.... Site shows $160 purchase.

You should verify this is correct. I am not convinced an end user can do the update, but maybe they can w/out Lexus hardware??
