Exclamation 2007 Is350 tranny code P0986

Hi, i need help on this issue, my car had shifting issues from 4th downshift to 3rd, it will jerk pretty hard, i thought is a ECU issue so i sent to SIA electronic for rebuild
now i have P0986(Shift Solenoid 'E' Control) pops out 5-10 seconds everytime after i reset the code with my odb2 scanner, anybody has experience on where is this Solenoid and where to buy it? Thanks for reading.

You need to replace your shift solenoid- specifically the one which controls 4 -3 shift. You may as well replace all of them, as it will make your transmission feel like new again.

You need to drop the pan filter to access it, which is perfect because you should replace it with a clean one and add fresh atf fluid in there anyways.

I'd recommend taking it to a transmission shop. Do not drive the car anywhere else as you will damage the gearbox.

No clue. their are a lot of solenoids in there. I would simply replace all of them.

While you have the pan apart, you might as well rebuild/replace the valve body too.
