Hello,
For some reason my front low beam lights are dim. I recently replaced them with brand new Sylvania SilverStar H11 lights from Walmart. Anyone know if this is a common issue? Or could it be a fuse of some sort? Sorry not too savvy with cars, not sure where to begin the troubleshooting.

Taking it to Lexus seems like it will be too expensive. Appreciate any assistance.

 

How do you figure it's dim? Is one side dimmer than the other? Are you comparing with another IS with halogen headlights? If your headlight assemblies are fading, light output will be reduced. Grab a shot of your headlights on a wall with a light background at night, along with taking a picture of your headlight housings during the day.

 

headlight assembly is not fading, both are dim. Comparing them to my friends IS with the same setup. He has a 06 IS and the same exact setup. I'll take a pic at night and upload shortly.
