I'm trying to remove the rear quarter panel outer taillight carpet. I've taken all the clips off and taken the bottom plastic tray off too. it's all moving but 1 section I'm struggling with is where the carpet meets the plastic trim that runs horizontally across in the trunk. The carpet just doesn't seem to come away from this black plastic. How do you completely remove this black plastic? It's the plastic that has a small opening the trunk latch

Just held on by clips, but those latches need to be removed as well. After, just give it a good yank. Those little latches are held in by a 10 or 8mm bolt I believe.
