Default IS350 A760E Transmission Value body upgrade (Shift kit)

Hi guys

Has anyone tried this Transgo Shift kit https://www.ebay.com/itm/Transgo-SK-...-/272642949400

I have seen a lot of people wanting to upgrade 2IS transmission shifting response. Maybe this is the fix?

It seems to be available for quite awhile but I haven't seen anyone talking about it ( Or I didn't look hard enough? ).

Any review? More info is appreciated

Thanks!

I'm 99.8% convinced the trans shifts exactly when the solenoids are instructed to via engine ecu and trans tcu. That you will not be be correcting the lag from paddle/shift lever changes when manually shifting. That deficit is a product of the ECUs programming not anything to do with the valve body function.

So unless running boost or you have some other problem with the trans behavior, doing things like increasing the line pressure or stuff like that is simply a quicker means to an end through increased heat and wear from higher pressures.

^Totally agree! I mean, this is an Intelligent Sport model Lexus. In the end, it's really a common 4dr sedan with minor sport-ish tweaks. It was not meant to shift or behave like a sports car.

If the tire chirp and firm shifts are your thing, great. But it won't fix the lag ridden shift.
Buy 3IS. They fixed it later in life.

They're just messing with us. Leading the witness so to speak! Haha!
I do like her for most everything but the laggy manual shifts. Even that is easily compensated for tho!
