Car is blowing cold air when idle but operates normally when accelerating.
I had searched the forums and topped off my car with coolant as many posters suggested and the issue is still happening. Had a coolant flush back in June because the car was creeping up in temperature, car hasn't overheated since but I'm not sure why the coolant level was so low. Also had the water pump replaced a couple of years ago. Any ideas?
Thanks

I'm thinking if the car has been running ok since the flush, and water pump. You said you still have to top it off? The system is a seals system. If your loosing coolant you have a leak somewhere.
The only things that come to mind is air in the systen, stuck open thermostat, or faulty blend door not opening at the heater core. I don't know the correct AC diagnostic sequence on the panel. You can try searching for it will run a cylcle on the HVAC controls, and test the servos are working.

If you have a leak in the cooling system, it could be at the heater core which in the cabin. Antifreeze has a kind of a sweet smell to it. Feel around on your carpet on both the passenger and driver sides. Don't just feel on the floor, check the carpet that goes up the firewall, too and see if it is wet.
