I have a 2007 lexus IS250 with 145k miles. Just replaced my tires and was advised to replace shocks/struts. trying to get an estimate and not from a lexus dealership and lastly is it safe to drive the car?

Well, you could find a local import specialist shop to do the work. Yes, you'll be fine to be driving the car; just keep in mind that on rough (washboard-like) or wet surfaces, a bad shock can compromise the traction you get with those new tires.

As said, not inherently dangerous. But can compromise traction in certain situations. Basically don't drive crazy.

Labor for such a job should be around the $200 (if you find a really good deal/honest mechanic) to around $350 (your average walk in price)

You can DIY fairly easily with basic tools and a garage.
