I have a NON-navigation head unit that turns on with display. All display functions work well. I can change the blower motor speed (temp up, down, off) but I cant change the vent functions. I have owned this car with this issue for 3 years and it didn't bother me much until the drivers side started blowing cold. So defrost doesn't work (never did) and the vents blow air to the foot wells and the upper body. I have the glove box out. While hitting all buttons I don't see any servos moving or working. Again the climate control display looks like everything should be working but it is not.


204k miles. Any advice is more than welcome.

Run an HVAC control self diagnostic. I've done it before long ago. I think I used the second Gen RX 300 method. Serach that thread. It involves hold the recirculating button, and the AC button.

Another thing is has anyone removed the radio, or HVAC controls for any reason? I would assume a pinched wire, or unplugged connector. Check if your actually getting 12+ to the servos themselves. The ones you can get to for testing.
