Default 18” or 19” post pics!
What’s up cl?! What do you guys prefer on your 2is? 18 inch wheels or 19 inch wheels? I’m going to lower my car soon but don’t know what size wheels I want yet. Post pics if y’all can thanks

I would say go with 20's, but since you wanted to lower your 2IS, I'd say go with the safe route of 19's, just incase you decide to go even lower than what you thought and rubbing issues

20” is too big in my opinion and I’ve heard that going 19” will make you rub but depending on how low your ride height is and your tire size. Thanks for the advice!

Yes, you are correct, it does matter how low you are deciding to go on your setup

Im on 19x8.5 f. 19x9.5 rear on Nitto NT555. No rubbing; still rides great. There is a wheel thread with detailed specs to help you out. Also , you’ll be better off if this was on the main page.

19s fill in the wheel gap and tad better than 18s; especially when lowered. I went from being lowered on BCRs from factory 18s to 19s. Much nicer look in my opinion.

I've removed my front liners and have pulled the front fenders = no rubbing

I've since added 3mm spacers in the rear to help get the rears to match closer to the look of the fronts.The pics below don't reflect this.

Let's please get our facts straight. What matters is overall diameter (wheel & tire combo), wheel width, offset and tire cross section. Get these wrong and you will have major troubles. IMHO, a 20" wheel with rubber band tires is both impractical and looks just plain wrong on a 2IS.

front 19 by 8.5" 35 offset w/ 225/35/19 Michelin Pilot Sport AS3+
rear 19 by 9.5" 45 offset w/ 275/30/10 Michelin Pilot Sport AS3+

Ive had 20s, 19s and ,18s .20s I felt was too big .tires looked painted on .18s I had to dump my car for it to look good .I'm on my second set of 19s .I think 19s are perfect .however tires will be more expensive. I'm at 19 x 9.5 in the front and 10.5 in the rear currently
