Default Green glue stains on rear bumper

Hello I just recently bought a used 250 with a quite a few imperfections on the body. The back bumper was changed for an is f style one by the previous owner. Unfortunately it was not done so well and the bumper has greenish glue residue that’s dried up. I was wondering what can be used to remove this without damaging the bumper ? thank you.

It looks like someone put adhesive to attach the rear diffuser. You can probably apply heat to it and see if it will at least wipe off the residue. Just don't go to hot on the heat gun.

The rear bumper is not an ISF style bumper, it appears to be a stock ISX50 bumper. But, as was said above a diffuser has been fitted, and the work seems to have been done a a family of monkeys Try the above suggestion, and if that is unsuccessful there is always the professional.

There's this product known and Goof Off and I love this stuff when it comes to removing adhesive or any type of sticky gunk. It's essentially orange goo that comes in a spray bottle and can be purchased at home depot. Some say that it has damaged their clear coat (i believe its due to a dirty MF or from rubbing too hard) while others have said that it does not cause any issues. Personally, I have used it 4x on the exterior of my is250 and have had no problems what so ever. You basically spray the affected area, let it sit for a bit then carefully wipe it off with a microfiber towel. After doing so, I would clean off the affected area and apply a layer of wax. good luck and hope it works!
