Default Spring compressor

Thanks for the help guys I also wanted to know the spring compressors are only gonna be used on the stock coilovers right to remove the top mount ? Will they be needed for the new coilovers or no

The spring compressor you will only need to use on the factory suspension. Once the top hats are removed, they're simply installed onto the top of the shock. Because of the ride height adjustability, you'll never need to worry about using the compressors on your new coilovers.

FYI, if you don't have access to an impact gun, it'll make the removal of the top nut difficult. If you need an impact gun for this job, find yourself a Harbor Freight or Tractor Supply and purchase an electric impact and a set if impact-specific deep well sockets (MM of course).
