Default Tire wear out uneven

Hi all,

One of the tires (front passenger) on my 2008 IS250 AWD wear unevenly, the in side tread wear significantly more compare to the other 3 tires. Tire pressure on all 4 tires are set to specs (checked from time to time). I read somewhere said this model has no camber to adjust, not sure if that is true. Can this problem be fixed?

Thanks!

Replacing lower control arm bushings typically fixes this well known problem on these cars.

Toe setting could be off. Inspect your upper, lower ball joints. Inner, outer tie rods for play. Get an alignment done.

Hi Primavera,
I am planning to change the bushing but want to make sure the correct ones. Could you please confirm, are the control arm bushings circle from the images below?

Hi MikeFig82, Visually inspected but did not see any thing wrong with the ball joints. I may have to bring the car to the shop for an aligment. Thanks

Pic #1 shows your LCA lower control arm bushing. They are fairly easy to replace, make sure your car is under load (wheels touching the ground) and torque them to 83 ft-lb.

I do have the same problem with the conductor side. Considering to change the LCA as I change the tire.
I wandering which bushing to choose from the Figgs line up as I have a 2008, 250 rwd, F-SPORT lowered with the BBK. This is my secondary car and I love to push my driving to tight corner and do a lot of hard braking. So the zero deflection bearing seems interesting but I didn't want to get something that will induce too much vibration in the steering in normal driving conditions. Should I go with the normal bushing or the zero deflection one?
