Default Headlight Help

Hey CL,

can anyone tell me what kind of connector this is?(attached photos - oval looking one with two prongs) They are a part of my Morimoto Bi-led M-Led projectors that I bought a while back but haven't had the chance to get them retrofitted, now that I've got a buddy to do them for me I'm just missing a wiring harness conversion to finish. On the spec page for the projectors I thought they were H4 because it said direct fitment H4 housings, but after ordering the harness for H4 it seems like I misunderstood it completely. I'm a big headlight beginner, so they look like I need a H8 or maybe H9 female plug? 9005?

Thanks guys

that looks like a 9005 or 9006 plug... if you are installing HID on your high beam it should fit fine.. if you want low beam its H11...

I think Morimoto high beam solenoid comes with 9005 plugs. But should also fit 9006 plugs since they don't have the tabs and other guides. The Spec D lights use an H1 highbeam so you will need to do some cutting and soldering.

Hey guys, thanks for all the responses. Just to confirm that if the connector is 9005, I'm going to need a 9005 plug like this?

Also, can anyone tell me what style H1 high beam is in the Spec D? Euro single terminal or asian 2 pin?
Thanks

On the spec D (and VIPMotoz/Sonar) the H1 connector is just two spade connectors.

This is a VIPMotoz/Sonar H/L.
