XM Installation
Just bought an 07 IS 350. Want to put in factory XM. Has shark fin. Has Nav with AM/SAT button. Bought used factory XM receiver. Now I need to know where to find the adapter harness and mounting bracket to install the XM receiver . Have tons of pictures of installs and all factory part numbers. Just can't find a harness. Anyone have ideas or one they aren't using ?? Would buy another receiver / bracket / harness together if someone has one............

If you can listen to loop commercials hitting the XM button. I think it's pre installed already. Seek further assistance from members here.

It was an option and didn't become standard until 2009 models.

It was an option. You have to install the XM receiver(I have one) in the trunk even though there already is an antenna and the radio has a SAT button. I just need the harness to do that. Looking at posts on here from back when these cars were new this was a common practice. However, the parts to do it with are no longer available.

Yes. That is the case. There are posts on here from 2007 that give the part numbers required and have very detailed installation instructions. No new parts are available and I have not found the bracket or harness used yet. The receivers are pretty plentiful though since they fit many other vehicles.
