Default headlight options?

Do you guys know any sellers for aftermarket headlights? So far, all I see if VipMotoZ. Are there any other companies?

I think we need to create a sticky on aftermarket headlights soon. I see these questions and threads all over now.

I’m gonna do the 2011+ aftermarket LED DRL OE replacements in halogen and retrofit some i-Len LED projectors in. Should be starting it next month. I plan to rig the AFS side side motors (outside of the H/L) and keep auto level. The Depo halogen ones have a blank twist in slot there for the auto-level motors. Depending on how the harness is setup, I may have to cut and paste wiring and pins from OEM H/L to get all the wires for AFS on new H/L.

I returned my MotoVIPz (within their 60 day return policy) once I saw the Depo makes a 2011+ DRL version now in Halogen. I wasn't willing to pay for $1,100 for the Depo HID versions but am happy to pay $480 for the halogens since I was going to bake them open and MOD them anyways. Just got to keep an eye on the lens clear/UV coat...I've seen alot of the A/M TYC and Depo start flaking prematurely.

The MotoVIPz H/L do come with the wiring for auto level motor and same blank slot like the Depo. Some photos of the Motoz when I had them.

If you can make the Depo headlights fit on HID models, a thread on it would be awesome. Really want to get them myself but I don't have a clue in the world how I would make them work. And some proper photos of the unit itself since Depo's are product shot.

They will "fit" but the issue is using or transplanting your HID parts onto it. The halogen one's have H11 bulb slots and projects. Since I was going to do a projector retrofit anyway, I wanted to start with the lowest cost housing (halogen). So for $480...I can justify that.

If you just want as clost to PnP as possible with HID, may want to just spend the $1,000 for the Depo LED DRL for HID. You still have to transplant your ballast and bulbs over. There are YouTube videos of people doing this like 5 years ago with the OEM 2011+ H/L. Looks like the A/M Depo HID include auto level motor, but missing the lower round cap for LED DRL board (same with OEM).
