Default 2is Carbon Fiber Interior Vinyl

I am currently in the process of cutting out a vinyl carbon fiber overlay for the interior pieces for my 2006 lexus is 350. After a couple tries I cannot see to get it to fit exactly and was wondering if anyone had a print out template of the drivers and passenger window control panel including backseat control panels as well as the center console. Thanks.

That’s a good looking kit for $50. I got some free gloss carbon fiber vinyl from www.boldbargins.com

I think you should just lay a slightly bigger piece of vinyl over whatever piece you're wrapping and just cut the excess. Im wrapping mine tonight with a 5D Carbon Fiber Vinyl and that's how i'll be doing it.

Nice. Share some pics once you’re done I’m eager to see how it turned out

Here are the before and after results. I just got around to doing one piece that took me about an hour, i have never wrapped anything before so you might see some imperfections.

Looks super good! Who’d you detach the window controls?

Once you pry it open and take the whole thing out, just unscrew the bracket that holds the controls from the bottom. All of them detach as a whole piece.
Here's another shot of what i finished.

I also looked at the Rdash CF kit on ebay but figured I could do the templates myself. After I cut the basic shape I laid down the 5D CF then trimmed the edges with a fine point Xacto knife.

I have this terrible red wood trim in my car and wanted to change it for many years. Since I hated the appearance of this old 3m dinoc vinyl and did not want to harm my original trim with real carbon overlay I put this project on hold. It does not help that car is manual and there are no carbon overlay kits for it as you can find for auto trans cars.
Recently I saw a member on 4GS forum did his trim with this new 7D carbon vinyl and I was really impressed by the look. That vinyl has come a long way.

I would like to cover over the gear indicator on the center consol. Just might not look good with it as a bump. There really is no use for it.
