Default Will Mazda 3 rims fit my friend's lexus is350?

As the title says, my friend has an IS350 2006, and I was wondering will my old mazda 3 17" rims fit?

Here is the info on the Mazda rims:
Bolt Pattern: 5x114.3
Offset: 17x6.5J ET52.5

And AFAIK the Lexus IS350 comes factory with:
Bolt Pattern: 5x114.3
Offset: 17x8J ET45

I read on another forum that a guy got away with using 17x7" but I'm wondering if 6.5 would work or it would be too small?

Thanks,

They might fit since they share the same bolt pattern but they won't be hubcentric. Mazda center bore is 67.1mm and Lexus is 60.1mm. The only way to find out is to mount them and see if they clear bigger front caliper on Lexus.

^^ Nailed it. +5

But a 6.5 rim is to narrow. If rwd, those are 8.5" for a 255.
If they fit, they make center spacers which should used to fill in the difference so the studs are not taking the whole load.
The 350 calipers are pretty big. Trial fit is best.

Will 17x7.5j ET44 fit for IS350 RWD?

Edit: Coming from a Ford Fusion Hybrid 2011

You might have better luck with Ford wheels, pretty much same configuration as Mazda, just an inch wider. Try them on and see if they clear front brake.

A little off topic, but I'm using the 17" Mazda CX5 wheels on my IS250 with a hub ring and it fits. Looks like enough space for the 350 calipers as well
