Was it working before the fuse bus strip replacement?
If yes, I'd say focus there before dealership.

No. It stopped working the same time the fuse blew. I can confirm that because when I did the temporary fix with soda the accelerator was not responding.

FWIW - your helper made a solder repair and likely drank his soda.

You might hop on the Toyota TIS website, pay the $15 for 48hr access and go through the troubleshooting steps. It may guide you in the right direction.

You check all the cabin fuses too?

Got rid of the soda guy a while back.
Got a proper electrician to take a look. We checked all the fuse and also cables to the throttle, following the troubleshooting steps found online .
My remaining options include one or more of the following; changing the sensor (throttle or pedal), changing the throttle and changing the PCM.

sorry for the delay. Took the car to another garage it turned out it was just an issue with the cables. That has been sorted out now. The car is driving ok now however it drained another battery. Taking it back to the garage tomorrow most likely it’s the alternator.

Sorry I didn’t take any pictures, this happened a while back.
Are you having the same issues?
Have an electrician check the wiring from the from the computer to the throttle.
No promises but I will try and see if I can get more information from the electrician that fixed mine if he can remember
