IS350 Mileage
hello all, just wanted to know, what’s the most miles you have seen on an IS350. Also is it still strong with that many miles? Looking at 130k and up mileage IS350, and wondering to spend 6k cash or 6k and small loan from bank to get lower miles.

Did you check out this thread?
I'm at 136k miles now on my 08. Nothing major, just regular maintenance (all fluids, brakes/rotors, battery, tires, serp belt). Biggest problem I had was a dead fuel pressure sensor, not too hard to replace but it was a PITA to find out that it was the problem. Water pump was leaking so I changed that as well.

I bought my 2008 IS350 back in September with 206K miles on it. The car has been running fine. I'm the second of the car. The previous owner took the car to the dealership for service every three to four months.
My car has more cosmetic issues and they're pretty minor.

Bought my '09 IS350 in '11 w/55k. Just sold her to a dear friend at 195k after finding my IS-F. She ran, drove, and looked absolutely mint. Getting rear-ended into a 4-car pile-up may have had something to do with the "looks new" part - hah!
Here's everything I had to do to her besides regular maintenance:
- three battery replacements
Yep, that's it. In total fairness, I did also replace the water pump (did it myself in 2hrs, factory part was something like $70 on Amazon?)... It didn't "need" it, but was starting to weep a little at maybe 130k, so was more peace of mind than anything else. Plus she was due for a coolant flush.

Sorry for the late reply.. The water pump and serpentine belt were bad when I bought the car at 135k miles. I could only guess those got bad at 130k mile range for my car? I have seen some go out much sooner.

My 2006 IS350 has 154K miles and still runs like new--zero problems aside from normal maintainence and wear items. Just replaced the alternator. I check the oil level every week and top off as needed--uses about 1/2 quart every 1000 miles which is ok.
Its basically a Toyota so I expect the car to run well over 200K miles.
