2011 IS 250 courtesy lights programming
Hello,
I own a 2011 IS 250 with LED DRL and manual folding mirrors. I was wondering if it possible to have my dealer program the courtesy lighting (on unlock with fob) to include the DRL and tail lights. Instead of just mud and interior lights. Basically i want my car to do what this NX does.
Can it be done or nah...?

Most of those settings can be changed with the Toyota Tech-stream computer. The options vary from model to model but either the dealer or someone like myself who has a Techstream computer can do it.
I literally just changed a lot of behavior on my wife's 15' 4runner with how the fob and key work. One of my favorite options that is not enabled on most Toyota/Lexus vehicles is the ability to roll all the windows, back glass and sunroof open or closed. The same goes for making the DRL turn off at given times as soon as you lock it. You can change most of the lights behaviors, more on the newer vehicles.
Some Toyota places might tell you it can't be done but they are just ignorant of how that works. An import or toyota specialty shop would liekly have the capability as well.
